Take a Virtual Tour of Winnsboro, Texas

WINNSBORO, TEXAS (a 2003
Main Street City) is known for its Autumn
Trails and Spring Trails activities. Hosting trail rides and antique car festivals, it is known far and wide.

The area around Winnsboro is known as the Christmas Tree Capital of Texas and often referred to as Lake Country.

Lake Fork has the best bass fishing in the Lone Star state. It held the #1 bass in the state at 18.18 pounds and also the top six in the state.

Lake Cypress Springs is considered the cleanest lake in Texas. 27,000 acre feet of pure water with 42 miles of piney wood shoreline. The lake is spring fed and is stocked with bass, catfish, perch and bream.

Lake Bob Sandlin is a 9,460 acre reservoir with a 640 acre state park that provides camping, commercial marinas, and much more.

Lake Monticello is a neighbor to Lake Bob Sandlin with only a bridge separating them. It is kept warmer than usual by power-plant cooling year round, therefore, it produces some of the biggest bass in Texas.

Some other lakes include Lake Winnsboro, Lake Hawkins, Lake Quitman, and Lake O' the Pines. Come on in to Winnsboro and join the Fishin' Paradise!
