is a 9,460 acre reservoir with a 640 acre state park that provides

Lake Monticello
is a neighbor to Lake Bob Sandlin with only a bridge separating them.
It is kept warmer than usual by power-plant cooling year round,
therefore, it produces some of the biggest bass in Texas.
