Your Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of citizens who are investing their time and money in a community development program.  Members work in partnership together to support and encourage each other’s businesses and strive to welcome and promote quality economic growth in the Winnsboro area.

 The Chamber’s dedication to creating a vibrant business environment through interactive partnerships with business, government, and the community is reflected in our community’s pride and self-image.

 The Chamber is composed of directors, officers, and committee workers who serve without pay.  Members who participate in committees have a direct impact on Chamber positions and influence community actions.  We are fortunate to have our Chamber Administrator, Sandy Thomas, who devotes her full time to the Chamber as the only paid employee.

 Any individual or business interested in helping shape the future of our town and enhancing the quality of life in the greater Winnsboro area is eligible to join the Chamber of Commerce.  Membership is an investment in the present and future welfare of both individuals and our community.

 What does the Chamber do for you?

 The Chamber offers full-time representation and year-round results through a wide variety and scope of services:

 --Acts as a Community Information Service and Tourism Bureau processing thousands of inquiries annually through personal visits to the office, phone calls, email, fax, and by mail, and making available business data, maps, brochures, and marketing information.

 --Hosts Annual Chamber Special Events such as the Chamber Banquet, the Spring Trail Ride, the Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration, the Business Expo, and the Christmas Parade.

 --Promotes and Encourages Economic and Industrial Development, thereby building a healthy economy, expanding the tax base, and improving the quality of life by creating new jobs within the local community.     

 --Recognizes Personal Achievement through Man and Woman of the Year, Business of the Year, Teacher of the Year, Agricultural and Rosa Shaw Scholarship Awards.

 --Provides Marketing Opportunities with ribbon cutting ceremonies, press releases, recognition for participation in events, and free website advertising and email service on the Chamber website.
